Tamariki
Ora services celebrated the National Well Child Day 8th March 2012, by providing
health education, promotion, resources and whanau support.
This year’s focus was on the
Well Child/Tamariki Ora schedule six week check which looks at different
aspects for baby from breastfeeding, immunizations, car restraints including talking
and singing to baby. One aspect in
particular was demonstrated by Te Kupenga Hauora around the importance of child
car restraints. Families were shown how
to install their child restraints correctly and able to discuss child safety.

our community whanau.
