I would like to
take this opportunity to briefly re introduce myself. My name is Katrina Maaka
and I am a Registered Nurse. I have spent my entire nursing career working in
Adult Mental Health. I started working for Maketu Health and Social Service Charitable
Trust in August of 2011 as the Tamariki Kahui Whetu Co-ordinator working with
our 10-13 year old Rangatahi providing a Drug and Alcohol Prevention programme.
It was a most rewarding experience and been involved with our Rangatahi and
whanau has been a good learning opportunity.
I have now been
appointed into the roles of the Community Nurse and Diabetes Co-ordinator and would
like to inform you of the following services that are currently available.
